The short side of the L bar measures the four-inch maximum deck height for 1/10 Late Model (LM) bodies, while the tall side measures the leading edge of 1/10 sprint car wings for both maximum and minimum height requirements. The short side of the L bar is 0.75 inches thick, ideal for checking the Dirt Oval Dirt Championship (DODC) rule regarding the space between the front tire and door on 1/10 Midwest Modified cars.
